Valentines Day Craft

EverythingKaysi’s Valentines Day Wreath

My favorite thing to do on a cold and rainy weekend is to craft! With Valentine’s Day coming up, I thought today would be the perfect day to craft a Valentine’s Day Wreath. Here is a step-by- step instructions on how I made this red, white and black wreath! I hope you enjoy. 🙂

These are the materials I used:

Valentine Wreath

1 Styrofoam Ring

1/4 yard of Red and White Tulle Material

1 Scarf- (I found this one at Dollar General for $1. 🙂

2 Red and White Roses

Ribbon

4 Heart Jewels

5 Glittery Hearts on a Rod

Step 1: I Cut the tulle material into 12 inch long strips and tie them onto the ring.

Step 2: I wrapped the scarf around the ring and pinned it down using red sewing pins.

Step 3: I cut the roses off of the stems and the hearts off of the rods, making sure to leave 2-3 inches off the bottom.

Step 4: Place the roses onto the ring, on top of the tulle material.

Gift Inside a Lantern

My husband and I wanted to get his mother a gift she could really enjoy for her birthday. What better way than a massage gift card, her favorite lotion, body wash, 3 candles and home dĂ©cor? Relaxation is what we were going for, and I think we did good.:) This would make a perfect gift for Mother’s Day or Valentine’s or her birthday… now that I think of it, for any holiday this would work!! You could give this to a teacher for putting up with your kiddo or your favorite nurse at the end of your stay. Whatever the occasion may be, I want to show you how I put this sweet gift into a lantern I purchased from Big Lots.

I started by putting the 2 largest items in the back.

Then the small items in the middle.

I taped the bottom of the objects to make sure they would stay put!

Lastly, I placed the gift card in the front! Didn’t this turn out great?!! I love it! Just tie a cute bow around the lantern, write a sweet card and you’re done!
